Mixed berry syrup

Mixed berry syrup is beautiful as well as delicious.  Who would have thought that going gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free would improve breakfast?
You will need:
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries,
  • 1 cup cold water,
  • 1 Tbs. clear jel (not instant) or tapioca starch,
  • 1/3 C agave or honey

1.  Assemble ingredients

2. ​Mix 1 Tbs clear jel or tapioca starch with 1 C cold water

3. ​Cook berries, water, and clear jel over medium heat until thickened

4. ​Add agave or honey and stir until well blended.
